Day 2: Kathmandu to Lukla Flight; Trek to Phakding

Our journey begins with a scenic 30-minute flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest. From there, a leisurely trek along the Dudh Koshi River leads us to Phakding, a charming village nestled at 2,610 meters, where we’ll spend our first night under the stars.

 

Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar

Trekking towards Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region, involves a challenging ascent through beautiful landscapes and the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park in Monjo. Your effort is rewarded with the first magnificent views of Everest and surrounds. Namche, at 3,440 meters, is a vibrant mix of culture, commerce, and mountain vistas.

 

Day 4: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar

We take a day to adjust to the altitude, with options to explore nearby Sherpa villages or enjoy panoramic views from the Everest View Hotel. Namche’s amenities and local markets are yours to discover.

 

Day 5: Trek to Tengboche

Ascending to Tengboche at 3,870 meters, this day’s trek offers breathtaking views of Everest and Ama Dablam. The Tengboche Monastery, a spiritual center of the Khumbu region, invites for a peaceful reflection amid the Himalayan backdrop.

 

Day 6: Trek to Dingboche

Our path to Dingboche at 4,360 meters takes us through lush forests and the Imja Khola valley, revealing more of the majestic Himalayas. The oldest monastery in the region at Pangboche offers a glimpse into Sherpa culture and history.

 

Day 7: Acclimatization in Dingboche
